Stop Chilly Dipping Your Chips

A couple weeks ago I gave a tip on improving your putting stroke by accelerating your putter before it gets to the ball. Guess what? This same technique applies to the chip shot. Most chilly dips are the result of decelerating the clubhead before you make contact with the ball. Focus on accelerating the club in your forward stroke before you make contact with the ball. This will make you more aggressive and rid you of the dreaded chilly dip. Also, remember to keep your head in a consistent position throughout the stroke.
