Putting

Are you amazed when you watch a professional golf tournament on television and see how many putts the pros make? As well as the pros strike the golf ball, making those putts is what allows them to shoot low scores.

A great putter can be born, however, most of us have to work at it to become a good putter. Regardless of your handicap any golfer can become a good putter.

I have become a good putter through hard work and practice. I’ve learned to be precise in my putting approach (including the putting grip) and to never get sloppy in my preparation for a putt. Good putting requires consistency in address position, alignment, reading the break and line and having a positive mental approach.

Below are some great putting tips. I have learned these over the years while competing in numerous golf tournaments. I know they will help you become a better putter.

Here are My Personal Putting Keys:

  • Maintain a steady head…this is a must!
  • Do not let your eyes flick or move during the stroke
  • Keep your shoulders square throughout the stroke…another must!
  • The back stroke should be shorter than the forward stroke
  • Release the putter shaft at impact
  • Focus on smooth tempo
  • Make your hands work together and don’t breakdown the wrists

Improve Your Putting DVD

I’m sure you’ve noticed how nearly every instructional product on the market focuses on the full swing. And while there’s a ton of putting gadgets and gimmicks out there, there’s very little actual putting instruction.

Yet an average golfer takes 43% their shots putting! That means you’re using your putter twice as much as any other club in your bag.

It doesn’t matter if you can bomb it 100 yards past everyone else off the tee, if you 3-putt every other hole, and lip-out easy 2 & 3-footers, your scores will never improve!

  • How many times have you hit a beautiful long and straight tee shot, and followed it up with a great approach only to 3 putt and leave the hole with a disappointing bogey?
  • How often do you find yourself getting nervous over your short putts?
  • Are you secretly wishing that your partners will concede short putts so that you don’t have to face the embarrassment of missing?

We have put together a comprehensive break down of the entire putting process. This system unlocks hundreds of secrets about putting fundamentals covering the grip, setup, stroke, reading greens, pre-shot routine, mental techniques and much more… And best of all, it’s designed to deliver all this to you with the absolute minimum amount of effort on your part.

What’s Revealed in Our Putting Performance DVD?:

  • The deceptive appearance in your grip that causes all golfers to believe the wrong thing about making a good putt!
  • How to properly grip the club for the best putting you’ve ever had!
  • The proper stance: You could be copying the wrong one when you’re watching tournaments on TV?
  • How to physically and permanently PREVENT your wrists from “breaking down” when you putt.
  • Which hand should be “in charge” of the putt?
  • The One Simple Key to accuracy!
  • How to get your body into the best physical position for seeing the line of the putt.
  • How to make all your putts as smooth a silk — no matter what kind of slopes or angles you have to compensate for!
  • The key to overcoming the dreaded “distance” demon!
  • Distance control so precise, you’ll be rolling your ball exact distances to anywhere on the green.
  • How to take the way you currently grip your putter, and guarantee it keeps the putter-face dead-square to your target through the entire stroke.
  • Know without a doubt, how long your stroke needs to be for each, and every putt to roll it right to the bottom of the cup.
  • Make your putting stroke so dead-square, your ball will have no choice but to go exactly where you’ve aimed.

I have improved my putting substantially over the years by becoming more knowledgeable about the putting stroke. I also came to understand that being a good putter is the best way to lower your golf score. If you are truly interested in becoming a better golfer, I invite you to explore our Putting DVD.
